That combination is GAF’s System Plus Limited Warranty. Hill Top is a GAF Certified contractor, so it’s the warranty we register for the rebate, within 45 days of your install.

How to claim
From install day to your check
Two deadlines decide whether the check comes. We handle the first, you handle the second.
Day 0: Install day
We install a qualifying GAF roof on your home: GAF shingles plus at least 3 qualifying accessories.
By day 45: We register the warranty
GAF requires the contractor to register your System Plus Limited Warranty within 45 days of installation. That’s our job, not yours.
By day 60: Your warranty letter arrives
GAF mails your warranty. If it hasn’t come within 60 days, call GAF at 1-877-423-7663, option 3.
90 days: Claim the rebate
File online at GAF’s rebate site within 90 days of the issue date on your warranty letter. SheerID checks your military status.

Roofs for Troops
Who pays the rebate?
GAF, the shingle manufacturer. It mails the $250 check after your claim is approved. We install the qualifying roof and register the warranty that makes you eligible.
Does a roof repair qualify?
No. The rebate needs a qualifying GAF roofing system installed on your home: GAF shingles plus at least 3 qualifying GAF accessories, registered under an enhanced warranty. In practice that means a full replacement or a new roof.
When does the offer end?
The 2026 program covers roofs installed from 1/1/26 through 12/31/26. Each program year comes with its own dates and terms.
Can I claim it more than once?
No. GAF limits it to one rebate per qualifying person and one per address.
My warranty letter never came. What now?
GAF mails it after we register the warranty. If you don’t have it within 60 days of installation, call GAF at 1-877-423-7663, option 3, and let us know so we can check the registration on our side.
GAF’s terms
- 1Active members, honorably discharged veterans, and retirees of the U.S. military who are legal residents of the U.S. (each, a “Qualifying Individual”). Roof must be installed between 1/1/26 and 12/31/26 on a residence in the U.S. owned by a Qualifying Individual.
- 2A qualifying GAF roofing system consists of GAF asphaltic roofing shingles and a required number of qualifying GAF accessory products, which varies based on the enhanced warranty selected. Qualifying GAF accessory products include: (1) ridge cap shingles; (2) attic ventilation; (3) starter strip shingles; (4) roof deck protection; and (5) leak barrier.
- 3Eligibility requirements, coverage and restrictions vary based on the enhanced warranty selected. Enhanced warranty must be registered by your contractor within forty-five (45) days of installation. If you have not received a copy of your warranty from GAF within sixty (60) days, call GAF at 1-877-423-7663, option 3.
Additional terms: Offer valid in the U.S. only. Void where prohibited. Limit one rebate per Qualifying Individual and per address. Completed rebate claim form must be received within 90 days of the warranty issuance date found on your warranty letter. Allow 8 weeks from receipt of claim for shipment of rebate check or as otherwise required by law. GAF is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incorrect, incomplete, illegible, damaged, or postage due mail/requests, or for technical errors that may affect the submission, receipt, or processing of rebate requests. Claims received after deadline, incomplete submissions, illegible submissions, or submissions that do not comply with these terms will be rejected and will not be returned. Please keep a copy of the documents you submit for your records. GAF reserves the right to audit all rebate claims, and improper redemption or use constitutes fraud. GAF is not responsible for any rebate check that is lost or stolen.
